The Vougaldeias<\/i><\/b> views good sustainability practices not as an obligation, but as a natural way of being.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aware of the importance of maintaining sustainable tourism development and adhering to the principles specifically adopted in World Charter for Sustainable Tourism<\/i>We are committed to carrying out sustainable management of our activities, as well as complying with the requirements established in the framework. Biosphere Hotel<\/i>, which includes, among other things, the legal requirements that regulate the effects generated by tourism activity. Therefore, we base all our policies and values \u200b\u200bon this principle in order to:<\/p>\n

  • To motivate and train our employees through training and awareness-raising activities on the principles of Responsible Tourism.<\/li>\n
  • promote good environmental practices<\/li>\n
  • To participate in external activities and to report both internally and externally on the company's environmental progress and actions.<\/li>\n
  • To promote local partnerships, contributing to increased economic sustainability in the region.<\/li>\n
  • We also include a commitment to adopting accessibility measures for people with disabilities (sensory, physical, intellectual and mental).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    One of our main objectives is to improve sustainable management, committing to continuous improvement in all areas of sustainability: social, economic and environmental, as well as customer satisfaction. To this end, future projects for the expansion of facilities or activities will be subject to sustainability criteria and efficient use of resources.<\/p>\n

    Our mission is to provide our visitors with peaceful and safe days in harmony with nature, days that will remain in the memories of families and friends. We want to (re)live traditions and make this house your safe haven when you are away from home.<\/p>\n

    VISION<\/b><\/p>\n

    Our vision is to breathe life into a village located on the north bank of the Vouga River, reconstructing ruins that tell stories of time. We want to perpetuate memories by making the most of what Couto de Baixo has to offer: its people and nature.<\/p>\n

    We raise our flag to four great values \u200b\u200bthat are our pillars:<\/p>\n
